Lord Singh of Wimbledon has accused the BBC for ‘prejudice and of being intolerant’ Lord Singh has quit the radio show after 35 years. Indarjit Singh said that the BBC tried to stop him from discussing a Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji who fought against the Mughal emperors in the 17Th century. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was against the conversion of Hindus to Islam and was executed because of this.

The script did not criticise Islam or receive any complaints which discussed the Sikh Guru. Lord Singh went ahead with the item after he threated to leave the slot empty, as he did not want his religious teachings ‘insulted in any way’ Lord Singh made an official complaint about the incident, he said it was not the first time he has been stopped from discussing important subjects based on the Sikhs.

The BBC tried to prevent him from broadcasting a discussion about the executed Sikh Guru, as the BBC feared it ‘might offend Muslims’ even though it contained no criticism to Islam.

The BBC have been questioned on countless times now by various different guests and speakers in silencing voices.
